By decree of Mayor Luigi Toffolo, Corrado Donà has been appointed to the Board of Directors of Portogruaro Interporto Spa, serving as President. At the same time, Francesco Padrone, PhD, was appointed as a member of the Board of Statutory Auditors, and Laura Vendrame, PhD, was named as an alternate member of the same Board.
Mayor Toffolo first wished to thank Antonio Favrin, Eng., for his over twenty years of commitment at the helm of the Interporto, emphasizing how the project, established in the 1990s, maintains a fundamental strategic role for Portogruaro and the entire region. The choice of Corrado Donà was motivated by his professional skills and extensive experience in the logistics and transportation sector.
Following the latest Board of Directors meeting, Corrado Donà was elected President of Portogruaro Interporto Spa. In his speech, the new President thanked the Mayor and the entire Board, offering a special tribute to Mr. Favrin, calling him “a beacon” for the company. Donà also confirmed the company’s positive performance, with revenue growing by 10% in 2025, and announced significant investments for the expansion of the rail-logistics platform: the bureaucratic phase for the first lot has been completed, involving the construction of two 900-meter tracks, pending validation of the executive project to begin work.
